10 Commandments
of Proper Golf Etiquette
THOU SHALT NOT give another player golf lessons on the
course (If they don't know it by now, you ain't going
to correct it here)
THOU SHALT NOT play from the back tees if thy handicap
is in double digits.
THOU SHALL play ready golf – regardless of who
is away when your group agrees to this before teeing off.
THOU SHALT NOT look for lost balls if they are of less
than driving range quality.
THOU SHALT NOT hit a practice shot with a second ball
while others wait to hit behind you.
THOU SHALT NOT mark thy score by the green.
THOU SHALT NOT linger at the turn.
THOU SHALT NOT use a cell phone on the course.
THOU SHALL allow players on a par 3 to hit up when your
group reaches the green.
THOU SHALT NOT throw clubs, curse loudly, use gamesmanship
or commit any other form of questionable behavior on the
course.
